shame on you for even getting this information
You'd be surprised how many EVE players play WoW too. They're different games and they cater to different markets. How do you logically compare the content of a space sim with a fantasy role playing game?
Incidentally I don't play WoW because I find it boring. I do have a blast at it every 4-6 months though when I'm bored of EVE.
Correct. I'm a Eve and LOTRO man myself. That gives me a PVE game and a RVR game. Theres tons of people out there who play mutliple mmo's and have multiple accounts for each which to me which is insane the amount of money they spend on this.
I did the math on Team Wizzy once from dark age (one guy running 7 characters from 7 pcs at the same time) and he dished out $740 a year to play dark age.

Little known fact: Most orcs and goblins have been ripped off the Warhammer, almost entirely. This goes for all Warcraft games and all visuals post DnD.
You're not actually ill-informed enough to believe gw invented orcs and goblins are you? Because that would be sad. If you're instead talking about wow's implementation of orcs and goblins, you'd also be wrong unfortunately, as they're presented in a completely different light. Only correlation is that they're both green
The Orc and Goblin were the creation of Tolkien's imagination, where they not? Thats what I've always thought.
Well I always thought that Orc's and Goblins were created back in the dark ages along with vampires, werewolves, ghosts, and many other things.
Ghosts may have been sooner.
We just continue to retell those stories from generation to generation and ours just marketed on it.
Chances are the real orcs and goblins were most likely deformed men and women who were outcasted by civilization.

Orc would be credited to Tolkien yes but they're in no way human, they're elves gone bad.
In tolkien Lore yes. In Warhammer they come from the badlands and are more or less spawned from pods. My favorites are the snotlings though. In warhammer the elves gone bad are the Dark Elves.
And in DnD I do believe they are a more barbarac form of man. In DnD they do have a much different appearance than the other games too.
